Filandia and Barbas Bremen
Filandia is a small village in the Quindio area, that looks like Salento in term of architecture but smaller. It is far less touristy, even if its treasures are starting to attract the well-informed travellers. Filandia has everything to attract, and you will be surprised by the similarities between the 2 places. The central square is beautifully surrounded with renovated colonial houses, and at its centre you can find the superb blue and white church of the Immaculate Conception; that is worth a detour to see. Close by, you can visit Canyon of Rio Barbas, a natural site where you can swim and enjoy the reserve to observe birds and monkeys.
