Antioquia

This is the region where Alejandra was born, and the region Arnaud adopted… This is a mountainous region, offering a wide variety of landscapes, gorgeous small colonial villages, countless rivers and waterfalls running through a very thick jungle in which you can observe a multitude of animals. This network of rivers offers the opportunity to experience diverse water sports and activities (canyoning, tubing, rafting, kayak…). The inhabitants of this region, called the “antioquenos” or “paisas”, are very welcoming, proud of their origins and traditions. Their reputation in the country is one of enterprising people and that is why tourism is already well developed there, as well as infrastructures. This region has a very central location, both close to the Caribbean Sea in the North and the glaciers region in the South.
